This check valve is designed to be used as a redundant check in conjunction with the CNG receptacle as a safety measure in the natural gas vehicle. It allows for free flow to the CNG cylinder and blocks flow in the reverse. It utilizes the same high quality internal construction and components as the Snap-tite NGV1 receptacle.
Snap-tite's CNG check valve is designed with a non-barrel type poppet valve to reduce sticking due to contamination & icing between the outside diameter of the valve and the inside diameter of the body bore. This highly reliable check valve provides additional safety to the vehicle system when required.
