Berty Stationary Basket Catalyst Reactor

Recycling gas/vapor phase catalyst research tool

Circulate gas past a stationary catalyst bed using 2,500 rpm vane blowers, either 3" (75 mm) or 5" (125 mm) OD, contained within the high pressure reactor. Three different pressure ratings between 2,450 to 5,800 psi (169 to 400 bar). Two temperature ratings 650°F & 1,200°F (343°C & 649°C).

Robinson-Mahoney Catalyst Testing Reactor

The most widely used supported catalyst testing reactor for multiple phases

Popular reactor design circulates liquid reactants past a stationary catalyst bed. Impellers (1,000 rpm) draw fluid into the center of an annular catalyst basket. Pressure ratings 5,400 psig (372 bar) @ 300 cm³ & 5,800 psig (400 bar) @ 1,000 cm^3.Temperature rating 650°F (343°C).

Spinning annular basket for supported catalyst testing in fluid reactants

Caldwell Catalyst Testing Reactor

Low density gas/vapor recycling flow supported catalyst research tool

The design creates high circulation pressure & high mass transfer with low density gas. A 8" (200 mm) vane blower @ 2,500 rpm moves the gas past a stationary catalyst bed. Optional plating deactivates the reactor's surfaces. Pressure rating 800 psig (55 bar). Temperature rating 950°F (510°C).
